About the project

A story of depraved small-town values and the propensity for violence in young men.  Using the microcosm of his hometown, Playwright Garrett Vollmer explores the explosively dangerous environment which is pervasive throughout so much of small-town America.  HOMEwill explore the ways in which, by pursuing the “American Dream”  we actually create a toxic environment for ourselves, which may be released in unexpected and destructive ways.
