PARTY NO MATTER WHAT. As we catapult towards another election, Dangerous Productions once again unleashes it’s off-the-wall political comedy, THE CANDIDATE.
It’s days before the elections, and the American Party Party is holding a final blowout rally. But when calamity strikes, the party is left scrambling for another candidate, and the choices are far from ideal. As the speeches, debates, dancing, and voting rage on, it’s clear that only the most hard core partier will make it to the election! Full of hilarious dialogue, slapstick, and ridiculous democracy, this original comedy will have you laughing all the way to the voting booth! This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. |
