Karen students joined a team of Dangerous Productions Artists and professional parkour staff to create an original production. Using the stories of their immigration to the United States as inspiration, teens created three original performances in 2014 & 2015.  Teaming up with the Karen Organization of Minnesota and Fight or Flight Academy, we  trained, collected stories, and learned about each others' cultures, parkour techniques, and the remarkable journey undertaken by refugees from Thailand and Burma.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
