Dangerous Productions is hiring a Project Manager for its ongoing HAPPY FROGTOWN project!
We're seeking an organized, tech-savvy person to coordinate upcoming projects and keep them running smoothly!
Projects will include:

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Project Manager will be a part-time position (5-10 hours weekly), that will be the central organizer of these events. Duties will include:

We're seeking an organized, tech-savvy person to coordinate upcoming projects and keep them running smoothly!
Projects will include:
- HAPPY WHO AM I (April/May)- A video project involving up to 20 local teens who will create individual video portraits of their own identities.
- HAPPY ICE CREAM TRUCK- (June/July) A crazy ice cream truck, run by a group of teens, that will bring comedy and artistic engagement to the streets of Frogtown this summer.
- HAPPY STORYTIME- (September) A community event, where kids will tell stories that will then be re-read aloud and broadcast over the Frogtown Community Radio Station.
- HAPPY WINTER- A community-designed shadow and light show happening as the days grow shorter...

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Communications
- Applicant will be required to use the following digital applications as management tools:
- Wunderlist- for project to-do lists
- Slack as a primary communication tool
- Evernote for notes, etc.
- Google Docs for more extensive documents like project workbooks, etc.
- Google Calendar for official productions calendars
- Applicant will be required to use the following digital applications as management tools:
- Location Management
- Communication with Artistic Staff about rehearsal/performance space needs
- Communication with/coordination of rehearsal spaces
- Identifying rehearsal needs
- Scheduling
- Coordinating Access
- Defining and communication any parameters around the space and its use
- Calendar managing and reminders
- Ensuring rehearsal schedule includes and is up to date with
- Contracts/paperwork due
- Rehearsals
- Performances
- Production Meetings
- Special Calls
- Photo Calls
- Video Shoots
- Costume Fittings
- Marketing Deadlines
- Website
- Handbills/Fliers
- FB Event
- Press Release
- Program
- Video
- Ensuring rehearsal schedule includes and is up to date with
- Making schedule clear and understandable to project staff and participants
- Coordination of all production elements with appropriate staff, including
- Technical Elements
- Lighting
- Sound
- Set needs
- Venue Needs
- Seating
- Tables/Hospitality
- Technical Elements
- Arrangement/Coordination of transportation of all technical elements to and from rehearsal/performance locations
- Being present at load-in and strike of projects
- Personnel Coordination
- Creating list of needed volunteers for each event
- Coordinating Volunteers at Performance events, including
- Box Office
- Set Up and Take Down Help
- Food Coordination
- Coordinate rehearsal/performance snacks/meals
- Ideally get food from DP sponsors
- Meetings
- Weekly Production Meetings with all production staff
- Monthly meetings with the Dangerous Productions Production Team
- Post-project meetings about labor/responsibility distribution
